Hand painted artwork reproduced as a cotton / linen / model rectangular scarf, 200 cm x 70 cm. The scarf can be worn loosely around one's neck as a fashion accessory, draped over one's shoulders for a bit of warmth on a cool evening, or wound several times around the neck when the weather turns chilly, all of which makes it perfect for travel. Dry cleaning recommended.
We've taken my original "Bookish" scarf, and recolored it to match the stunning Cathy Kincaid designed interiors of the FABULOUS Beacon Hill Books in Boston, swapped out the titles for the owner's favorites, added their mascot Paige the squirrel (and her own book), dropped in a few acorns that Paige may have squirreled away, and finished it all with a proper cup of tea.
"This was a true pinch me moment - I thought painting my own favorite bookshelf and turning it into a scarf (which you all greeted with such enthusiasm!) was living the dream ... until Beacon Hill Books asked me to collaborate on a custom edition inspired by their drool-worthy interiors."
