August is always special for me - we head to Maine for a much needed recharge. I'm going to take a break from the Love Notes for the next few weeks (perhaps even a wee bit longer), but I'll be back with a collection of fantastic fall fun for you.
I've been holding onto this idea for a love note for awhile, sort of like holding an ace of spades in your hand. Penny Ashford is a nature photographer, specializing in the light and movement of water, and she captures its nuanced beauty like nobody's business. Above is a detail from her "Splash Series".
