Golfy 1/29/24

I just got back from the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando (where I was showing my custom line of bangle bracelets). I think it might be safe to say that I knew less about golf than 99 percent of the people there - of which there were more than 30,000 (!!).

My idea of a good afternoon of golf is taking my clubs on a nice walk with some girlfriends, and just maybe my ball will actually go into the hole a few times. I spend much of the nice walk trying to avoid close encounters with real golfers, in whose way I might accidentally tread. Golfy I am not. READ MORE

Self Galentining 1/22/24

Hello friends!
What fun to be sitting at my desk, looking out over a snowy garden, musing over bons mots while sifting through little drops of beauty to share on a frigid January morning. This is one I like - to paraphrase James Clear, "Be the person you would like to be". So if you want to be someone like my friend Amy, who always has a smile for others, and never loses her composure when her well laid plans get turned upside down, stop and take a deep breath, and just pretend to do what she would do. A New Leaf 1/15/24

Hello and happy long weekend Monday. I hope you're doing something absolutely fabulous! I'm still a bit on cloud nine from my quick trip to see "Sargent and fashion" at the MFA Boston - it was just divine, and it's sold out for the remainder of its run, so I'll leave it there. I'm also gearing up to exhibit at the PGA show in Orlando next week, where I'll be debuting my bespoke bangles for resorts and clubs. Well, not exactly debuting, as I've been designing them for awhile now, but this is my first big push into the resort and golf industry. I've had the honor to work with esteemed clients like Monticello, the White House Historical Association, the Ocean House, and Edgartown Yacht Club (a personal favorite design). READ MORE

Straight on til Morning 1/8/24

I'm not a New Year's resolution'er. It seems like a perfect set up to feel like a failure. There's plenty of opportunity for that to go around without setting yourself up for it. But, as you've probably figured out, I can navel gaze with the best of them.
