Our hearts ache for the devastation and loss from Hurricane Ian. We send our hopes and prayers that our friends and neighbors in Florida and the coastal South will rebuild and recover more quickly than logic dictates. Despite our differences, our American spirit of resilience remains strong, and it binds us together. 5/16/22 Paean to the Peony
My husband suggested the title for this week's note, "Paean to the Peony". "No one will know what that means", I said, not pointing out that no one included me. Sigh. I looked it up and learned: paean: "a song of praise or triumph". Well Lordy me, that's just what I had written. Let's sing it out to the rafters!
1/17/22 Get ready for your Galentines
If we lived in a world where you could simply close your eyes, make a wish, and watch it come true, I would rent this pink castle in Scotland and invite all my girlfriends for a Galentines girls getaway weekend. Good thing it has a lot of bedrooms.
11/01/21 a Candy Colored Christmas
